A Kidkraft Toy is the Answer!

Just like any dollhouse lover, when The Dollhouse Company adds new lines, I don’t hesitate to look around! My most recent rave here is Kidkraft - I can’t say enough about the idea of a Kidkraft dollhouse ! Last year, when my son began play therapy for a sensorimotor disorder, the therapist often brought out a play doll house that I thought was pretty cool. It was basic, colorful, and strong. This Kidkraft dollhouse was designed for littler, clumsier hands - a sturdy, large doll house.

A Kidkraft Toy is the Answer!

Since then, I have often thought about purchasing such a doll house for him. My only reservation was that I worried he would lose interest quickly, as it had little to do with the things that interested my (very traditional) little boy: motors, wheels, pirates, airplanes - the things every little boy thrives on.

So, in my most recent trip around the website, discovering all the cool, new doll house kits, I found the answer! Castles, Construction Sites, Pirates, Fire Station, Rocket Ship and Garage! A Kidkraft toy is my answer. I was delighted to see these awesome toys that he can use as both play and therapy to help him heal and grow. He can imagine working on cars in the garage with friends, or responding to a four alarm fire, or blasting off into space with a rocket ship play set! How cool is that?!

I guess my only problem now is which Kidkraft toy we try first! His therapist will definitely be hearing about this!
